DETROIT – Police in Detroit are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman in a violent attack that left one man dead.

Jalen Stevens was shot and killed while his younger brother, Glen Stevens, was stabbed multiple times outside Chita’s Nefertiti’s bar on Grand River Avenue. It happened at about 1 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 4.

Police said they arrived at the scene after reports of a stabbing. While investigating, the shooting happened. The suspected gunman, Michael Harris, was taken into custody.

Harris has been charged with first-degree murder, felony firearm and resisting arrest.

Authorities are asking anyone who can identify the woman believed responsible for the initial stabbing to come forward.
