The Detroit Economic Club has hosted government officials and political leaders since 1934, including Presidents Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Clinton and George W. Bush.
This will be Trump’s third appearance at the club, following campaign speeches in August 2016 and October 2024.
The visit coincides with the opening week of the Detroit Auto Show at Huntington Place, though it is unclear if the president will attend the event.
