REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A man was arrested and charged with allegedly shooting and injuring two people in Redford Township early Saturday morning.
The shooting happened at a home in the area of Kinloch Street and Midland Avenue on Jan. 10, just after 3 a.m.

When police arrived at the house, they initially did not find anyone injured. Later, a local hospital told police they had two people with gunshot wounds from the area where the shooting happened. Both victims are expected to be okay.
After police spoke to the victims, a search warrant was executed at the home, and Chaz Sims was placed into custody.
Sims was charged on Jan. 12 with two counts of assault with intent to murder, two counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder or by strangulation and several other felony charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
