Water main break floods neighborhood on Detroit’s east side Barlow near 8 Mile and Groesbeck flooded
DETROIT – Residents in a neighborhood on Detroit’s east side woke up to a flooded street Tuesday morning after a water main break.
The water main break happened on Barlow near 8 Mile and Groesbeck on Jan. 27, 2026.
Local 4 saw a few cars, including a Detroit police patrol car, stuck in the mess.
The cause of the water main break is unclear.
