Michigan State University is launching new plans to prepare students for jobs for the future.
This fall, MSU is launching a new AI course that will be part of almost every major, helping students learn to use AI smartly and responsibly.
This initiative was funded by a $5 million grant.
Along with the AI course, Michigan State is focusing on providing real-world experience and connecting research with industry to boost innovation and keep graduates in Michigan.
Dr. Sanjay Gupta, the Co-Chair of the Green and White Council, a group of civic business leaders who advise students on how to best prepare students for the future, joined Local 4 Live to help us navigate this. You can watch the full interview at the beginning of this article.
