STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – A 21-year-old Clinton Township man has pleaded guilty to multiple felony charges stemming from a road rage shooting last year.

Logan Shea entered guilty pleas to the following charges: discharging a firearm from a vehicle, assault with a dangerous weapon, and two counts of felony firearm.

Court records show Shea waived his arraignment, and the plea was accepted by the court. As part of the agreement, the weapon involved will be forfeited.

The charges stem from a November 2025 altercation in which Shea was reportedly driving in Sterling Heights when he displayed a badge and pointed a gun at another driver during a road rage encounter.

The victim contacted 911 and provided police with a description of Shea, his white Chevrolet Silverado, and the vehicle’s license plate number.

While officers were speaking with the victim, other police units reported hearing gunshots approximately four miles north. The suspect vehicle was also described as a white Silverado.

Police later went to the address associated with the license plate, which investigators said was Shea’s residence. Authorities reported seizing a badge and multiple firearms from the home.

As part of the plea agreement, Shea requested consideration under a Cobbs evaluation with eligibility for Holmes Youthful Trainee Act (HYTA) status. Prosecutors consented to the request. Under HYTA, eligible young defendants may avoid a public conviction if they successfully complete the terms imposed by the court.

Shea’s sentencing is scheduled for March 5, 2026.
