Sheetz is set to open 14 new restaurant and convenience store locations across Southeast Michigan in 2026.
The move is part of the company’s broader half-billion-dollar investment in the state and will significantly grow its footprint throughout the Metro Detroit area, according to a release from Sheetz.

Company officials said the expansion will improve access to food and retail options while creating hundreds of new jobs in the region.

Each location is expected to employ at least 30 workers, many in full-time positions, resulting in more than 400 new jobs across Southeast Michigan.
Sheetz said the roles will offer training opportunities, room for advancement and long-term career paths.
All of the new locations will feature Sheetz’s Made-to-Order menu, offering customizable food and drinks 24 hours a day.
Options include breakfast served all day, subs and sandwiches, pizza, chicken, salads, specialty drinks, cold brew, milkshakes and smoothies.
Sheetz has earned national recognition for its employee-focused culture and has been named a Best Regional Fast Food Chain in USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice award. In 2026, the company’s president and CEO, Travis Sheetz, was named a Crain’s Newsmaker of the Year for the brand’s growing presence and investment in Southeast Michigan.
In addition to new stores, Sheetz officials said the company plans to continue supporting local communities through charitable giving and partnerships with organizations across the region.
The company currently operates more than 800 locations across Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Michigan, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland.
All Sheetz stores are open 24 hours a day, year-round. More details on grand opening dates and local partnerships are expected to be announced as each Michigan location gets closer to opening.
