Timeline of alleged assaults leads to multiple felony charges against Detroit Man

Man had been in a dating relationship with each victim at the time of the incidents

WAYNE COUNTY, Mich. – Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Donneal Darren Sandridge-Jones, 31, of Detroit, in connection with assaults involving three women.

The victims include a 35-year-old woman and a 27-year-old, both from Detroit, and a 32-year-old woman from Taylor.

Sandridge-Jones had been in a dating relationship with each victim at the time of the incidents.

Jul. 13, 2025 – 32-year-old woman

On Jul. 13, 2025, at about 11:30 p.m., at Sandridge-Jones’s residence in the 12000 block of Elmdale Street in Detroit, a verbal altercation escalated.

Sandridge-Jones allegedly physically assaulted the victim while armed with a knife.

He also allegedly damaged the victim’s phone and vehicle.

Sandridge-Jones has been charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm, felonious assault, domestic violence, and malicious destruction of property valued between $200 and $1,000.

He was arraigned on Feb. 3, 2026, where he received a $500,000 cash or surety bond with GPS tether and house arrest.

The probable cause conference is set for Feb. 12, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., and the preliminary examination is scheduled for Feb. 18, 2026, at 8:45 a.m.

Jan. 20, 2026 – 27-year-old woman

On Jan. 20, 2026, at about 7 p.m., at the same residence, Sandridge-Jones, allegedly intoxicated, stabbed the victim multiple times in the neck.

He also allegedly forced her to drive him to multiple locations while holding her at knifepoint.

Sandridge-Jones faces charges of assault with intent to murder, unlawful imprisonment, felonious assault, malicious destruction of property between $200 and $1,000, and domestic violence.

The Detroit Police Department’s investigation led to his arrest on Jan. 31, 2026.

He was arraigned on Feb. 3, 2026, with the same bond conditions and court dates as noted above.

Mar. 31, 2025 – 35-year-old woman

On Mar. 31, 2025, at about 10 p.m., at the same Detroit residence, Sandridge-Jones, allegedly intoxicated, threw a brick at the victim’s vehicle, breaking the driver’s side window.

He then allegedly threw a second brick, striking the victim in the face.

Sandridge-Jones has been charged with felonious assault and domestic violence in this case. An update will be released when an arraignment date is confirmed.
