Two people have been charged in connection with the deaths of two men who were shot and killed in Lansing early last year, police said.

The investigation began on February 10, 2025, after the body of Lance Pollo, 39, was discovered following a structure fire in Eaton County, according to a release from Michigan State Police.

Around the same time, in late February, Raequan Brown, 29, was reported missing to the Lansing Police Department. On March 23, 2025, Brown’s body was found in a wooded area by hunters.

During the investigation, Timothy Ryan Galbraith, 43, of Lansing, and Trisha Leslie Bos, 48, also of Lansing, were identified as suspects.

After interviewing witnesses and going through forensic evidence, investigators determined that both men were shot and killed in Lansing on the same day.

The Michigan State Police Lansing Post, which originally handled the investigation into the discovery of Brown’s body, later assumed responsibility for the investigation into Pollo’s death from the Eaton County Sheriff’s Office.

Brown was allegedly shot and killed before his body was taken to a wooded area in an effort to conceal the crime.

Later that night, or early the following morning, Pollo was shot and killed in a Lansing residence, according to police.

Investigators believe his body was then transported to a suspected vacant house in Eaton County, where it was left beside the building. The structure was later set on fire in what authorities say appeared to be an effort to destroy evidence.

Autopsies determined that both deaths were homicides.

This week, Galbraith and Bos were arraigned on charges in connection with the murders.

Galbraith was arraigned on the following charges on Feb. 12, 2026:

  • Two counts of open murder
  • Three counts of felony firearm
  • Felon in possession of a firearm
  • Two counts of conspiracy to tamper with evidence
