PORT HURON, Mich. – Authorities have stopped nearly 600 pounds of methamphetamine from entering Canada in Port Huron.
According to authorities, officers with the Canada Border Services Agency at the Blue Water Bridge were inspecting a truck coming from Michigan on Feb. 4 when a K-9 helped locate 16 duffel bags packed with what they believe to be methamphetamine.

The total weight of the drugs was 266.4 kg, about 587 pounds.
Kulbir Singh, a 29-year-old from Ontario, was arrested and charged with importing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
