Detroit police offer $2,000 reward after woman hit by van on Valentine’s Day

DETROIT – Police in Detroit are offering a $2,000 reward for information after a woman was hit by a van as she was leaving a bar on Valentine’s Day.

It happened at about 2 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, near the intersection of Conant Street and McNichols Road. Police said the 28-year-old woman was walking to her car when she was struck by a white van driven by an unknown person.

Authorities are treating the hit-and-run as an aggravated assault.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-1100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

A $2,000 reward has been offered for information that leads to an arrest.
