DETROIT – Two people are dead after a car crashed into a warehouse in Detroit on Sunday morning, police said.

At about 10:15 a.m. on Feb. 22, police responded to the 6000 block of Rosa Parks after receiving a report of a single-car crash.

When they arrived, officers discovered that a car had crashed into a warehouse.

Two people inside that car were killed in the crash, according to police.

The driver of the car was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries.

Speed appears to be a factor, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing.
