Hit-and-run kills 32-year-old woman on Detroit’s west side

Reward offered for information leading to arrest

DETROIT – Police are looking for the driver in a hit-and-run that killed a 32-year-old woman on Detroit’s west side.

It happened at about 6 a.m., Feb. 7, near the intersection of Joy Road and Livernois.

Police said the woman was struck by a black Hyundai Tucson that fled west to Littlefield Street, where officers believe someone may have been dropped off.

The woman was taken to a hospital, where she died.

A $1,000 reward has been offered for information that leads to an arrest.
