Fight inside Detroit school gym leads to shooting that injured teen

Reward offered for information leading to arrest in teen shooting

DETROIT – Police in Detroit are looking for two people wanted in a shooting on Detroit’s east side.

It happened at about 8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at a school on Saint Aubin Street, between Mack Avenue and Wilkins Street. Police said a fight inside the school gym escalated outside, where a teen was shot.

He is expected to survive.

Police are looking for the suspected shooter and an accomplice, who reportedly arrived at the school with the suspect and was also armed.

A $1,000 reward has been offered for information that leads to an arrest.
