Police said they quickly located Theodore Goolsby driving south from the area and took him into custody. Jewelry stolen from the home were recovered from his vehicle.
Goolsby is reportedly the target of an ongoing investigation and was already on the police’s radar.
Police said Goolsby is the suspect in a previous Bloomfield Township home invasion in December, where he reportedly stole more than $22,000 worth of jewelry. He is believed to be involved in several other home invasions and burglaries across Oakland County.
For the two Bloomfield Township burglaries, Goolsby was charged with two counts of home invasion and held on $1 million bond.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected to be filed.
