If convicted, she faces the possibility of spending the rest of her life in prison.

Harris worked as a manager at the McDonald’s at 17921 9 Mile Road in Eastpointe. Police said she was killed in July 2025 after being involved in an argument with Muhammad.

The medical examiner’s autopsy said Harris had at least 13 stab wounds.

Prosecutors claimed the only reason Muhammad stopped allegedly stabbing Harris, even after the manager collapsed to the ground, was a bystander firing a shot.

Muhammed remains lodged at the Macomb County Jail on a $25 million bond.
