Volunteers Wanted: Making Comfort Blankets for Organ Donor Families

Pearls Event Center in Southfield, MI – Gift of Life will be hosting our annual Comfort Blanket Event on March 26 at the Pearls Event Center in Southfield, an early kick-off to National Donate Life Month.

Its free and open to the public to come help us create blankets that will be provided to new donor families at the time of their loved one’s passing. As you know from experience, those blankets are treasured keepsakes for folks.

Due to the event’s popularity, there will be two time slots again this year, 2:30-5 pm and 5:30-8:30 pm. Materials are provided along with snacks and opportunities to win prizes. Those interested in attending can register at DLCM.formstack.com/forms/2026_blanket_southfield.
