According to the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, Agee kidnapped a 14-year-old girl and sexually assaulted her between March 3 and March 10 at his home in the 19400 block of Lindsay Street in Detroit.

He was arraigned and remanded to jail on March 19.

Agee was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, March 26, for a probable cause conference. However, his defense attorney waived his appearance in court and continued the hearing without Agee.

At the probable cause hearing, both the prosecution and defense informed the judge that Agee is scheduled to appear in court for a competency ruling on a previous separate case. Details on this case were not shared in Thursday’s court hearing. A judge will rule on the results of Agee’s competency exam on April 7.

The judge reviewing the current case then scheduled a review hearing based on the competency ruling for June 8 before moving forward.
