How you can help make comfort blankets for new organ donor families in Metro Detroit Make, donate comfort blankets on March 26
A big effort is happening on Thursday for National Donate Life Month.
Every year, volunteers come together to make comfort blankets, which will go to new organ donor families. It’s a great way to show love and solidarity for families going through a difficult time. And on March 26, you have a chance to lend a helping hand.
This is free and open to anyone, and all you have to do is bring yourself. All the materials are provided.
Patty Jo Herndon, the CEO of the Michigan Donor Family Council, joined Local 4 Live to talk about the event. You can watch the full interview at the beginning of this article.
