DETROIT – An armed suspect is being sought after allegedly assaulting and robbing someone at a Detroit gas station, police said.
The robbery happened just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, in the 14400 block of Grand River.

Police said the 42-year-old victim was walking to his car after buying something inside the gas station when the armed suspect approached him.
The suspect then assaulted the man and stole his jewelry.
After that, the suspect fled and was last seen heading northbound on Strathmoor.
The suspect was wearing an orange and red ski mask and all black clothing at the time of the robbery.
