This Easter, Count Cat is turning holiday fun into a local business crawl, and prizes are part of the deal.
The Count Cat Easter Egg Hunt (March 29-April 4) sends participants to a handful of Detroit-area independent businesses, where hidden eggs are waiting to be found.

Prizes include DVD feature films from Planet 9 Films, music from DEATH CAT, festival waivers for Planet 9 Film Fest, pizza from Pie Sci Pizza, rentals from Occult 83 Video Store, gift cards at Flipside Records, bicycle tune-ups at Town n’ Country in Livonia, and hair cut discounts at Major Tom Styles in Royal Oak.
Fair warning: some eggs include gag prizes, and participants might run into the Evil Easter Bunny.
