Tow truck driver repossesses car with child inside in Detroit, police say
2-year-old was not harmed
Generic photo of police lights (Pixabay)DETROIT – A tow truck driver repossessed a car with a 2-year-old inside in Detroit, police said.
The towing company allegedly repossessed the car in the 2400 block of Fullerton on Friday, March 27, without realizing a child was in the back.
Officers responded to the location and made contact with the child’s mother.
Police said the tow truck driver returned to the location with the car and the 2-year-old. The child was not hurt.
No charges will be sought, according to the police department.
No other information has been released.
