Oakland County man to spend years in jail for threatening Macomb County judge

The threat followed a separate 2022 sentencing

A 31-year-old Oakland County man will spend years in jail after threatening a Macomb County judge.

Jamar Warren was sentenced Monday, March 30, to 87 months to 240 months in prison for allegedly threatening to shoot 16th Circuit Court Judge Kathryn Viviano. The threat came after Viviano sentenced Warren to prison for two unrelated offenses in November 2022.

Warren was charged in April 2023 with making a terrorist threat and one count of using a computer to make a terrorist threat.

He pleaded guilty to making a terrorist threat in January 2026.
