LIVONIA, Mich. – The last Bahama Breeze location in Michigan has closed.
The restaurant at 19600 Haggerty Road in Livonia was permanently closed as of March 16, 2026.

“A heartfelt thank you from all of us at Bahama Breeze,” the company said in a post on the Livonia location’s Facebook page on March 16. “This location is now closed, but the memories made here will always stay with us. Thank you for welcoming us into your community and for letting us be part of so many moments — big and small. If you’re looking for other restaurants in your area, we’re ready to welcome you to one of the other Darden brands near you."
The closure came earlier than expected, as the company had previously said locations slated for closure would shut down on April 5.
Darden Restaurants owns Bahama Breeze. Other chains under the Darden umbrella include Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and The Capital Grille.
Last year, the company closed the Troy location and 14 other Bahama Breeze restaurants.
Then, in February 2026, Darden announced it would permanently close 14 locations and convert the remaining 14 into another Darden brand, saying that the Bahama Breeze brand was “no longer a strategic priority.”
The conversions are expected to happen within the next year and a half.
