Michigan State University’s Rx Kids program has expanded to Mount Clemens and Center Line.
Rx Kids, which originally launched in Flint in 2024, has now expanded to 42 communities across Michigan.

Pregnant mothers or parents with babies born on or after April 1 in Mount Clemens or Center Line can apply to receive $1,500 during pregnancy and $500 per month for the first six months of their child’s life.
Residents in both cities can apply for direct cash support for pregnancy and early infancy.
Enrollment opened at 9 a.m. on April 1 for people living in Mount Clemens or Center Line who are at least 16 weeks pregnant at the time of enrollment or have an infant born on or after April 1. Families can apply here.
