HOLLY, Mich. – Great Lakes National Cemetery will be holding a spring headstone cleaning on Saturday, and volunteers are encouraged to join.
The headstone cleaning, hosted by the Great Lakes Cemetery Advisory Council, will be held on Saturday, April 11, at 9:30 a.m.

Pre-registration ended on March 31. However, volunteers can still register at the event beginning at 9 a.m.
Volunteers must check in at the registration tables near the maintenance building before cleaning, including those who have already pre-registered.
Sections will be assigned at the time of registration. If you have a loved one or friend resting at the cemetery and would like to be assigned to their section, you can include that information when registering, according to the advisory council.
Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be provided after the cleaning, while supplies last.
Great Lakes National Cemetery is located at 4200 Belford Road in Holly.
