DETROIT – The Michigan Science Center is launching their “Science of Safety” program.
The program will include live shows, demonstrations and hands-on exhibits to explore the science behind firefighting, emergency medicine and public safety technology.
One weekend of the summer the center will have Detroit fire truck and police vehicles parked outside for visitors to check out.
The center is offering free admission to Detroit police officers, firefighters, emergency responders and their families with a valid ID.
