A man in his late 20s is dead following a car crash in the area of 18 Mile and Mound roads in Sterling Heights Thursday morning, police confirmed.
The crash occurred just after 11 a.m. in the intersection and appears to involve at least two vehicles. The circumstances of the crash and condition of the other driver are not yet known, however police have set up evidence markers at the crash site.
The intersection will remain closed to traffic while police investigate the scene, the Macomb County Department of Roads reported.
