Michigan man arrested in child sex abuse case facing more charges after child porn found on phone

GENESEE COUNTY, Mich. – A Genesee County man who is facing charges in an alleged child sex abuse case is facing more charges after officers found child pornography on his phone.

Jordan Craig, 19, was charged with one count of accosting a child for immoral purposes, one count of using a computer to commit a crime, one count of capturing or distributing an image of an unclothed person and seven counts of child sexually abusive activity.

According to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, Craig allegedly tried to meet with a person he believed was a child for sex on Feb. 4.

When he was arrested, Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson, on June 16, said officers searched his phone and found child pornography and photos of unclothed people that were photographed without their knowledge or permission.

He is scheduled to be in court on June 17 for a preliminary examination.
