Boat explosion, fire in Macomb County leaves several injured

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A boat explosion and fire have left several people injured in Harrison Township on Thursday.

It happened at the gas pumps at Tow Boat USA on South River Road at around 1 p.m. on July 30.

According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, several people were injured. At least three people were taken to a local hospital for additional medical treatment.

The cause of the explosion and fire is unclear.
