El-Sayed now advances to the November General Election against Republican candidate Mike Rogers.

Rep. Haley Stevens posted a statement regarding El-Sayed’s win:

“I love Michigan and am so proud to have put up my hand to serve. I spoke with Abdul a few moments ago to offer him my full support as we work to defeat Mike Rogers this November.

Thank you, Michigan."

Rep. Haley Stevens

The Michigan Republican Party released the following statement after El-Sayed’s win:

The choice this November is crystal clear: common sense or communist crazy. For more than a quarter century, Democrats have controlled Michigan’s two U.S. Senate seats, and the results speak for themselves -- 200,000 manufacturing jobs lost, 45th in the nation for education, and the highest energy costs in the Midwest

Sadly, instead of offering solutions, Abdul El-Sayed is doubling down on the same failed, feckless far-left agenda that has held Michigan back. Let’s also not forget that Abdul El-Sayed is a terrorist sympathizer who is hellbent on releasing violent criminals from prisons and throwing open our borders so criminal, illegal aliens can flock to Michigan neighborhoods. This November, Michiganders will soundly reject radical, Marxist policies and elect Mike Rogers who will put working families first and protect our freedoms.”

President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social Wendesday morning regarding El-Sayed’s win, saying Wayne County and Detroit are “one of the most corrupt voting areas in the United States, if not the world.” You can read the full post below:

Wayne County (Detroit) in Michigan is one of the most corrupt voting areas in the United States, if not the World. It is strictly Third World! Miracles happen in Wayne County, including more votes being cast than there are voters, by a lot. Therefore, the Communist, who is not liked in Detroit, is potentially in “Vote Counter” trouble. The Radical Left Socialist has a real shot, and don’t discount all of those fake mail-in ballots that will “surprisingly” show up at the last moment. Get ready for another Rigged Election. In November we must VOTE FOR MIKE ROGERS, and make Michigan TOO BIG TO RIG. God Bless America! President DJT
