Michigan football CB Nate Johnson suspended after domestic violence charge

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A University of Michigan football player was arrested this weekend after an allegedly assault.

Nate Johnson, 19, a redshirt freshman cornerback who converted from wide receiver this offseason, was arrested Saturday morning by campus police.

Johnson is accused of attacking a girl he's dating.

Johnson was charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic violence.

The Michigan athletic department said Johnson has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities.
