This was just voted best cider mill in Metro Detroit

Fall is just around the corner, which means it’s cider mill season in Michigan.

In this year’s Vote 4 The Best contest, we asked Metro Detroiters to vote for their favorite cider mills in the area.

Here’s how the finalists ranked after voting:

1. Blake’s Cider Mill (Armada)
2. Yates Cider Mill (Rochester Hills)
3. Franklin Cider Mill (Bloomfield Hills)
4. Parmenter’s Cider Mill (Northville)
5. Apple Charlie’s Orchards (New Boston)

Blake’s in Armada took the top spot with the most votes in Vote 4 The Best.

Blake’s has been around since 1946, featuring a cider mill, tasting room and hard cider operation. Blake’s grows over 40 different apple varieties on the property, along with a diverse selection of crops.
