Police investigating after body found in vacant house on Detroit's east side

DETROIT – A body was found Wednesday afternoon in a vacant house on Detroit's east side.

According to police, the house is in the area of Celestine Avenue and Mayfield Street.

Police are trying to determine how the person died. Officials didn't say whether the body was a man or woman.
