Crime Stoppers of Michigan to host charity golf outing

MACOMB, Mich. – Crime Stoppers of Michigan, which gives residents a way to anonymously report crimes, will host a charity golf outing in June.

The charity golf outing is Sunday, June 11 at Sycamore Hills Golf Club.  It is located at 48787 North Ave. in Macomb.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham is the event chairman and Steven Phillips, the president and CEO of ConForm Automotive, is the event coordinator.

Crime Stoppers operates a tip line, 1-800-SPEAK-UP, to give people a way to anonymously report information about a crime in their neighborhoods, schools and businesses. Tipsters who provide information that leads to an arrest can receive a cash reward of up to $2,500 for an unsolved homicide, hit-and-run or missing person case. A cash reward of up to $1,000 is paid for all other felony crimes.
