Detroit Tigers pitcher Joe Nathan makes questionable gesture to fans

Nathan was booed after walking first two batters

DETROIT – It wouldn't be the first time a Detroit athlete flipped off fans after being booed.

Last night, after beating the Pittsburgh Pirates, Joe Nathan exchanges fist bumps with catcher Alex Avila, but Nathan then appeared to make an unseemly gesture toward the sellout Comerica Park crowd. He did it with his hand, and then with his glove.
