Michigan Stadium bans selfie sticks, drones

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The University of Michigan has added selfie sticks and drones to the list of items not allowed in Michigan Stadium this season. U of M officials say selfie sticks will be banned in the category of tripods and flagpoles.

Drones will not be allowed to fly in or over the stadium.

Here's a list of the items banned from Michigan Stadium:

Animals
Bags
Bottles
Cans
Clothing with profane or abusive language
Coolers
Cups
Drones
Flags
Flasks
Food from outside the stadium
Irritants
Projectiles, including balls and Frisbees
Purses
Seat cushions with metal, zippers, pockets, seat backs, arm rests or attachments
Selfie sticks
Strollers
Thermoses
Tripods
Video cameras
Umbrellas
Weapons
