Iconic moment: Detroit sports legends gather for first pitch at Tigers Opening Day

DETROIT – Opening Day in Detroit is a treasured sports tradition -- but this moment made it extra special.

For the first pitch at Comerica Park on Thursday vs. the Red Sox, Detroit sports legends gathered together to take part in the traditional ceremony.

Pistons legend Ben Wallace, Red Wings legend Nicklas Lidstrom, and Lions legend Calvin Johnson appeared near the mound -- and were joined by still-active legend, Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera.

Cabrera is in his final year before retirement.
