Shields’ promotional company, Salita Promotions added to its already stacked roster of women’s fighters after recently signing Daniels and WBA Light Heavyweight World Champion Che Kenneally.
“We are deeply committed to advancing equality in boxing by creating real opportunities for women to compete, succeed, and inspire on the world stage,” said Dmitriy Salita, President of Salita Promotions. “Signing elite champions like Lani Daniels and Che Kenneally reflects our belief that women’s boxing deserves the same investment, visibility, and respect as the men’s game. We are proud to support their journey and help shape a future where talent and determination define success.”
In February, Shields became the first boxer in history to win the Undisputed World Championship in three different weight classes by scoring a unanimous decision over Danielle Perkins on Sunday, Feb. 2 at Dort Financial Center in Flint, MI.
