In her past two fights, Shields walked to the ring accompanied by hip-hop stars. In July 2024 against Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse, Shields walked out at Little Caesars Arena with Dej Loaf performing hit song “Try Me.”
Shields stopped Lepage-Joanisse in the second round and won the WBC women’s heavyweight title and the WBO light heavyweight title.
In February against Danielle Perkins, Shields entered the Dort Financial Center ring with Papoose performing “50% Human.”
Shields became the first boxer in history to win the Undisputed World Championship in three different weight classes by scoring a unanimous decision over Perkins at Dort Financial Center in Flint, MI.
