Netflix confirms undercard, star-studded broadcast team for Canelo–Crawford ‘fight of the century’

Preliminary fights will stream at 2:30 p.m. PT / 5:30 p.m. ET on Tudum.com, TKO YouTube, and WWE YouTube

LAS VEGASCanelo Álvarez will defend his unified super middleweight championship against undefeated four-division superstar Terence (Bud) Crawford in a highly anticipated bout on Sept. 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Promoted by Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and President of the Saudi Boxing Federation, along with Riyadh Season, UFC President Dana White, and Sela, the fight is being billed as “the fight of the century.”

The event will stream live exclusively on Netflix to its 300 million global subscribers at no additional cost, making it accessible worldwide.

Netflix has assembled a star-studded broadcast team for the event.

Veteran UFC commentator Jon Anik will call the action alongside fight analyst Max Kellerman and International Boxing Hall of Famer Andre Ward.

Legendary ring announcer Michael Buffer will lend his iconic voice to the main card, while Joe Martinez will handle the preliminary bouts.

The desk team includes TV personality Mario Lopez, former light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver, boxing writer Mark Kriegel, and Ring Magazine insider Mike Coppinger.

Reporters Jim Gray and Heidi Androl will provide in-depth coverage and interviews, with trainer and former boxer Skipper Kelp serving as coaching analyst and unofficial scorekeeper.

The main card starts at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET and features four exciting fights, including the headline bout between Álvarez (63-2-2, 39 KOs) from Guadalajara, Mexico, and Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) from Omaha, Nebraska.

The co-main event features undefeated prospects Callum Walsh (14-0, 11 KOs) from Cork, Ireland, against Fernando Vargas Jr. (17-0, 15 KOs) from Las Vegas in a super welterweight contest.

Other main card fights include Christian Mbilli (29-0, 24 KOs) versus Lester Martinez (19-0, 16 KOs) for the WBC interim super middleweight title, and Mohammed Alakel (4-0) from Riyadh facing John Ornelas (5-2-1) in a lightweight bout.

Preliminary fights will stream starting at 2:30 p.m. PT / 5:30 p.m. ET on Tudum.com, TKO YouTube, and WWE YouTube.

Ticket holders can enter Allegiant Stadium beginning at 1:30 p.m. PT.

Preliminary bouts feature notable matchups, such as Serhii Bohachuk vs. Brandon Adams in the middleweight division, Ivan Dychko vs. Jermaine Franklin in the heavyweight division, and several other exciting fights across weight classes.
