The Detroit Lions finalized their 2025 regular season roster on Tuesday with the final cuts being announced.
The NFL’s deadline to cut rosters down to 53 players was Tuesday at 4 p.m.

The biggest moves include the move at backup quarterback, with former third-round pick Hendon Hooker being released. Linebacker Anthony Pittman, offensive tackle Dan Skipper, edge rusher Mitchell Agude, defensive back Morice Norris, and nose tackle Brodric Martin were also notable cuts on the list.
The cuts bring the roster to 50 players, so the Lions could still be looking to make some moves.
