DETROIT – The Detroit Lions trolled former offensive coordinator Ben Johnson with a celebration that might look very familiar to fans.

Johnson left the Lions this offseason to become the head coach of the division-rival Bears, and on Sunday, he made his first trip back to Ford Field as an opponent.

With the Lions up 14-7, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams made an ill-advised throw on second and 32, and safety Kerby Joseph came up with a diving interception.

Joseph and the entire defense sprinted into the nearest end zone to celebrate the turnover, and they couldn’t help but take a small shot at their old OC.

Joseph reenacted the famous “Stumblebum” play that Johnson called against the Bears last season. The creative play call had Jared Goff and Jahmyr Gibbs both pretending the snap had been fumbled in the backfield.

But then Goff straightened up and threw a touchdown pass to Sam LaPorta.

Since Johnson -- who was lauded for his creative play calling in Detroit -- was the one who dialed up that play, the Lions brought it back out for his first trip to Detroit as a visitor.
