The Detroit Lions got some good news regarding injured cornerback Terrion Arnold.

On Monday, Lions coach Dan Campbell said the team expected Arnold to be out “for a long time” with a shoulder injury he first sustained vs. the Browns.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Tuesday that a second opinion on the injury brought a more promising prognosis.

This would be big news for the Lions, who were already without D.J. Reed, who was placed on injured reserved with a hamstring injury.

Corners Rock Ya-Sin, Tre Flowers and Avonte Maddox will see additional time while Arnold and Reed work to return to the field.
