Sports Illustrated: 6th (Down from 4th)

Yahoo! Sports: 2nd

Yahoo! Sports mentions the timing of the bye week and that the defense needs to “get healthier.”

The Athletic: 2nd (Down from 1st)

The Athletic mentions Aidan Hutchinson’s NFL-leading (even after the bye week) 48 pressures, and that he is on pace for 116 pressures after having his 2024 season cut short due to his knee injury.

The general consensus is that the Lions are one of the top teams in the NFL and are predicted to win the NFC North this year. They were one of the most injured teams in 2024, and the hope this year is that they can stay healthy enough to win the Superbowl.

They play their division rival Minnesota Vikings this Sunday, Nov. 2 at Ford Field in Detroit at 1 PM ET.
