DETROIT – Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Wednesday he expects his team to bounce back after a disappointing loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Campbell told reporters the focus this week is, “Get back on our feet, clean things up, and find a way to be competitive and get the win.”

Reporters quickly turned to the recent trade deadline. Before the deadline, Campbell had downplayed the likelihood of any major moves, and on Wednesday he confirmed that while “a few things popped up,” nothing significant developed. “All good, we’re ready to roll,” he said.

The conversation then shifted to injuries. Campbell announced that offensive lineman Miles Frazier’s practice window is now open, meaning he’ll begin practicing this week. Meanwhile, Gio Manu remains “a few weeks out.”

Looking ahead, Campbell said he wants to see the Lions play their brand of football for a full 60 minutes—something he described as urgent, intense, and focused.

“I want to see our playmakers making plays, I want to see our coaches coaching at a high level, I want us playing and coaching on a championship level,” Campbell stated. He added he isn’t looking for perfection, just cleaned up.

When asked about possible adjustments on the offensive line, Campbell said the team plans to start with the same lineup that finished last Sunday’s game but may shuffle pieces to see how it looks.

He said Kayode Awosika will go in, and they may start adding [Trystan] Colon in spots and move some pieces around at least for a play or two and see what it looks like.

Campbell also expressed confidence in the team’s pass protection for quarterback Jared Goff. “The protections are sound,” he said, adding, “Can we do things better? Yes, we can.” Campbell said Goff is going to be fine. “He can see it, he knows it, he studies.”

When asked about moving Graham [Glasgow] to guard, Campbell said they’ve considered everything.

The head coach had high praise for rookie Miles Frazier, citing his versatility, tenacity, and strong blocking angles—traits the Lions valued from his time at LSU. What Frazier needs most, Campbell noted, is more reps.

He also commended rookie cornerback Terrion Arnold for his first career pick. “Good to see the coverage aspect,” he said, and added that Arnold played with confidence.
