Jack Little started his 2025 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers, spending some time in AAA-Oklahoma City. He pitched 3 innings at the big-league level for the Dodgers and was later designated for assignment and claimed off waivers by the Pirates.

He spent the rest of the season in Pirates affiliate AAA-Indianapolis, where he posted a 2.79 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 19.1 innings pitched.

Little throws from a unique low three-quarter arm slot, which makes him more deceptive to hitters. His arsenal includes a four-seam fastball in the mid-90s, a slider in the mid-80s, and a splitter in the mid-80s.

Additionally, the Tigers have declined options on: RHP Randy Dobnak (club option), RHP Paul Sewald (mutual option), and Jose Urquidy (club option).

They have also activated six players off the 60-day injured list: RHP Beau Brieske, RHP Jason Foley, LHP Sean Guenther, RHP Jackson Jobe, RHP Ty Madden, and RHP Reese Olson.
