DETROIT – Former Detroit Lions Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow is coming out of retirement to rejoin the team.
Ragnow retired from the Lions back in June, due to injuries. Now, it appears he’s back -- and ready to play.
The #Lions offensive line just got a lot better, as one the game's greats will return -- Center Frank Ragnow is returning. Sounds like he's in shape and ready to roll sooner, rather than later.

Ragnow had been one of the best centers in the league since the Lions picked him in the first round of the 2018 draft.
He played 96 games in the Honolulu Blue over that span, making four Pro Bowls and earning All-Pro Second Team honors three times.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter said Ragnow’s first chance to play again will be next Thursday vs. Dallas, but it’s more likely he returns when the Lions play the Rams on Dec. 14.
Ragnow’s return is a huge boost to a struggling offensive line that has had trouble with pass protection in recent weeks, and is dealing with a number of injuries.
