Detroit robbed? Sketchy review erases Lions’ safety on Dak Prescott sack

DETROIT – The Detroit Lions got hosed in the first quarter of their Thursday Night Football matchup against the Dallas Cowboys.

Facing a third down and five, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was sacked by Jack Campbell and Aidan Hutchinson for a safety, which was under review.

Prescott had both feet in the endzone during the play, but the play got overturned as he was first touched by the Lions defenders outside of the endzone before going into the endzone.

The play seemed kind of sketchy, but the officials’ review kind of showed him out of the endzone.

What do you think of the play?

It obviously didn’t impact the Lions, as they went on to outscore the Cowboys 17-6 and led 20-9 at the half.
