COLUMBUS, Ohio – Michigan basketball completely took over Ohio State’s arena over the weekend -- so much so that even the Buckeye cheerleaders joined in.

The Wolverines improved to 22-1 on the season with an 82-61 win on Sunday afternoon. They completed a season sweep of Ohio State after winning the first meeting 84-72 at the Crisler Center.

With about two and a half minutes left in the game and Michigan up 23 points, the CBS broadcast picked up Michigan fans chanting “Let’s Go Blue” loudly throughout the Schottenstein Center.

The crowd didn’t have much to cheer about all game, and many of the Ohio State had likely left to get ready for the Super Bowl because the game was so lopsided.

But Michigan fans obviously stuck around. The chant got so loud, two of the Ohio State cheerleaders under the basket can be seen joining in with their pompoms.

They probably did so subconsciously, because you wouldn’t expect the opponent’s cheer to gain so much momentum in your own arena. But that’s how dominant the Wolverines were on Sunday -- from the court to the stands.
